BIT Holds 2017 International College Football Invitational Tournament

¡¡¡¡On September 28th, hosted by the China-Russia Friendship Committee for Peace and Development and Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT), undertaken by the Russian-Chinese Cultural Education Development Foundation, 2017 International college football invitational tournament was opened ceremoniously. Lomonosov Moscow State University, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and BIT were invited to attend the tournament.
¡¡¡¡Chinese general secretary of the China-Russia Friendship Committee for Peace and Development and counsellor of the Eurasian Department of the Ministry of foreign affairs Li Li, member of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and vice-president of BIT Mei Hong, chairman of the Russian-Chinese Cultural Education Development Foundation Cui Shan attended the opening ceremony. The opening ceremony was hosted by Dong Zhaobo, director of Sports Department of BIT. And Mei Hong declared the opening of the tournament.
¡¡¡¡On September 13rd, the first opening ceremony of Shenzhen MSU-BIT University co-established by BIT and Lomonosov Moscow State University was held in Shenzhen, Guangzhou. President Xi Jinping and Russian President Putin sent their congratulations messages. Vice Premier Liu Yandong and Deputy Prime Minister of Russian Federation Grodziec attended the opening ceremony. This friendly football tournament is another great event after the cooperation of BIT and Lomonosov Moscow State University.
¡¡¡¡After the brief opening ceremony, the tournament between BIT and Lomonosov Moscow State University officially began. During the first half, the football team of BIT was in the driving seat and controlled the pace of the game. But as for the football team of Lomonosov Moscow State University that came a long way from Russia paid more attention on defense and had some great counterattack.The tournament once reached in a stalemate. And the football team of BIT took the lead for the break of Li Gonghao before the end of the first half. After 90-minites fierce competition, the football team of BIT won team of Lomonosov Moscow State University by 4:0. According to the schedule, there will be a tournament between the football team of BIT and Nazarbayev University on the afternoon of 29th at 3 pm.
