　　On the afternoon of Dec. 15^th, Alejandro Aguilar, vice-president of the University of Barcelona, who takes charge of the Foreign Liaison and International Affairs, visited Beijing Institution of Technology(BIT). Vice-president Mei Hong met with the guest at the 133 meeting room in the 2^nd building.

　　Mei Hong welcomed Alejandro Aguilar to visit BIT for the first time, and introduced the main situation of BIT. He said that he welcomed the teachers and students in University of Barcelona to keep in touch with teachers and students in BIT. He also said that we could start the cooperation with some educational programs.

　　Alejandro Aguilar introduced the situation of the University of Barcelona, and some school information like the scientific research key points, and distribution of campus. He also hoped they can implement the educational cooperation projects with BIT as soon as possible.

　　During the meeting, both sides exchanged their opinions in the fields of cooperation they were interested in.

　　Besides Mei Hong, associate dean of School of Design Ji Yong, vice director of Office of International Affairs Xing Qingqing and project manager of Office of International Affairs Peng Shu also attended the meeting.
