Delegation from RMUTT visiting to BIT

In the morning on Jun.6th, 2018, president of Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi (RMUTT), together with his team of fourteen members, visited Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT). They met Li Hezhang, vice president of BIT in the Meeting Room of Beijing Advanced Innovation Center for Intelligent Robots and Systems.
Li Hezhang extended a warm welcome to the first visit of RMUTT. He introduced the basic condition of BIT and said Thailand and China have become important partners in the construction of the Belt and Road initiative. As an active response to government orders, BIT has established the partnerships with famous colleges of Thailand. Li Hezhang welcomed more Thailand young people to study in BIT and wanted to improve the communication and cooperation of BIT and RMUTT, by ways such as exchanges of teachers and academic, cooperation of science and research. This meeting promoted understanding and friendship of BIT and RMUTT, laying the foundation to further cooperation and total communication.
The president of RMUTT conveyed his thanks for the warm reception of BIT and admiration for the significant contribution to the country and society of BIT. He introduced the basic condition of RMUTT and wanted to build a sustained cooperation with BIT in aspects of academic exchange, research collaboration, student training and teacher interaction, with the construction of the Belt and Road initiative. RMUTT will firstly cooperate with the school of Aerospace Engineering and school of Mechanical Engineering of BIT, organizing Joint-Degree Programs and sending excellent young teachers to BIT for advanced study.
Li Hezhang and the president of RMUTT signed a Memorandum of Understanding on behalf of both colleges. Subsequently, both sides exchanged in-depth views on aspects such as research collaboration, student training and teacher interaction of related majors.
Before the meeting, the delegation visited Beijing Advanced Innovation Center for Intelligent Robots and Systems of BIT.
Also attending the meeting were ,vice president of RMUTT, heads of school of Engineering, school of Management, school of Agriculture, school of Literature, school of Thai Medicine, and Dean’s Office and Research Office of RMUTT, heads of Office of International Students, International Affairs, school of Aerospace Engineering and school of Mechanical Engineering of BIT, and professors of related majors, related department personnel and Thai student representative of BIT.
